Dear Tom,
It's your birthday today. And Smudgie died this morning in a car accient, I pray that she's with you and snuggling up with you. I'll miss her tonight, but knowing she's with you, will make it easier. She's my baby. It's been a tough week but I've made it through to Friday. I hope you've had a good day and know that I've been thinking about you constantly. Remember Smudge loves to play air guitar and drums, she was such a bunny/cat. What a cute sweetheart. She choose you, I'll never forget the day we went to get her. My first cat that I've ever had. As I sit here, I can see her cat fur on my clothes.
So much death has happened in the last year, but I will remain standing strong, death will not have power over me.
The battle is won, the victory has been proclaimed.
I leave with this message 1234, my love. I always will.
Finally I'm putting up the first image taken on my camera ... the ginger Spikey boy who loved the box more than anything else.
Aka The ginger blur, Spikes, The Spikestermeister, Spikeroonius, and just Spike.
And here's Smudge waiting and wondering if she'll get a turn in that box.
A Canon 30D box ... my cat loves it ... he couldn't wait for me to unpack, he already had half his body in the box before I could get the paperwork out.
So guess what my first images on the camera are ... the cat in the box :)

Ok, Ginger cats have personality !
Here's another rescued cat (well all 4 of my cats are rescues) ... his name is Sarge, well, because he ruled when he arrived, and every Sergeant has stripes (I think), and he certainly had lots of ginger stripes. Here's a video of him watching a mole ...
