His name is Westy and he's about 2 years old, I think. He's a rescue, apparently he was in an awful state when they found him, literally a bag of bones and you couldn't see his gorgeously coloured fur coat. He is a boxer crossed with a Bull mastiff. He'll be Honey's new friend possibly.

She's adorable, but of course, I'm biased. Her training is going well. Last year in Dec she graduated from puppy classes and even got a certificate to show how clever she is. :)
I currently take her to Obedience training twice a week, and it's exhausting cause she's so lively. But it's fun and the people are nice. And she loves it, especially playing with the other puppies. She has a very long way to go, but we're persistant.
.... Immediately I locked myself in my bedroom, where the alarm control panel is situated. I pushed the panic alarm, I set the alarm and tried to set it off myself, I called the armed response guys, but everything seemed like time had slowed down ... nothing moved, 'cept my heart beating in my chest, and my constant pacing, trying to figure out what to do next. How long will it take before they get to me. How long will the burglars take to get through my locked bedroom door down, how long before the armed response guys arrive ... years passed time stood still .... only the picture in my mind of them moving through my house sped through my head ... what are they taking, will I escape safely, will I be harmed in any way ... why is the alarm so slow in reacting ... then suddenly I hear the noise of the alarm screaming, the big guys with big guns arrive ... and I feel a sense of temporary relief ... I live in South Africa ... these things happen all the time to other people ... as we scan the house, we find that the dog had bounced against the glass and shattered it by accident ... the armed response patrol vehicle guys (with their bulletproof vests radio in for a 24 hour glass replacement company to fix the window. They wait until the call is confirmed before finally leaving. The tallest guy takes out his handcuffs and says 'I'll have to handcuff your dog' (as a joke) ... but I was still in shock, moments later the glass guys arrive and within minutes, everything is back to normal ...
