Addo Elephant Park, is one of my favourite places to visit, it's less than an hour north of Port Elizabeth.
Here's an image of one elephant that got pretty close, unfortunately it was such a bright day, that my auto mode never caught anything stock worthy :) But to really appreciate the size of these animals, it's worth seeing the comparison. This one was a alone, so maybe it wasn't having a good day, or something, but it watched us for quite a while before it moved along.
